Coldplay is back to touring after a long break dedicated to promoting environmentally friendly concerts. The British band’s commitment to the cause has resulted in a few impactful solutions, including a world tour entirely powered by renewable energy. Solar installations, kinetic floors, and a mobile, rechargeable show battery help put the plan into action. Coldplay has also pledged to plant one tree for every ticket sold.   

So, that’s more than one reason to not miss the upcoming US tour. The schedule needed a few tweaks due to logistical reasons. But except for the LA concerts, everything is back on track. As per the new schedule, Coldplay Music of the Spheres Tour 2022 kicks off the US concerts in Dallas, TX. Houston, Phoenix, Santa Clara, and Chicago are next in line.

Coldplay Music of the Spheres at FedExField, Washington DC  

The Coldplay concert in DC’s FedExField is on Wednesday, 1 June 2022, from 7 pm. Washington DC is the sixth stop on Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres US tour 2022. But with an extra day at Soldier Field, the FedExField show is actually the seventh concert in the lineup.   

After DC, the next stop on the tour is MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. The final three concerts in the US are in Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Tampa.

Tickets for the Coldplay concert at FedFexField in June 2022 are now available online. General Admission ticket rates start at $55, with an additional fee for on-site parking. Floor tickets for the pit experience will cost you at least $125, while VIP packages for premium seating range from $450 – $700. Additional fees and taxes are also applicable.   

FedExField – Parking & Directions  

The NFL Stadium is located 8 miles east of Washington DC, near the Capital Beltway. Event parking is available at the official parking zones for a special rate. You’ll also find cheaper parking facilities near FedExField. The lowest rates are available online when you pre-book your spot. Drive-up parking can be challenging during a major event like the Coldplay concert.

An on-site parking pass for the Coldplay concert at FedExField costs $50. Event day parking is available at the orange, green, and red zones.
