The tickets for TEDx Portland 2022 are on sale right now. You can get one from the event’s official website or Ticketmaster. As of now, the tickets charges on Ticketmaster are between $59 and $250 for the cheaper tickets. How do you apply to be a speaker at the event?
Since TEDx events are independently organized, it is easier to get into the speaker’s list than TED. So it helps if you are a friend of the organizer or a previous speaker who could recommend you.
For the same reason, there is a high chance the organizers will request you to be a part of the conference if they feel you are worthy of contributing something new. So be findable! Make sure you make your presence felt on social media and share your ideas through blogging or other talks.

How to get to Moda Center?
If you want to go for TEDx Portland, you can either drive or take the train. There are two routes to get to Moda Center from Downtown Portland, and the fastest is a 1.9-mile drive via Pacific Hwy W to reach the arena in 7 minutes. You can also drive via SW 4th Ave and W Burnside St, which is a 2.3-mile drive that takes around 9 minutes, depending on the traffic.
Is there parking at Moda Center?
Since the Moda Center is part of the Rose Quarter, you can find official parking at the four garages of the Rose Quarter. These facilities are Garden Garage, Annex Garage, West Broadway Garage, and the East Broadway Garage.
Among these, the Garden Garage is attached to the north end of the Moda Center, which makes it the closest parking space to the arena. All of these garages have a limited number of accessible parking spaces as well. Additionally, there are two parking lots, which makes it a total of over 2500 spaces.
You also have the option to pre-purchase parking at these facilities online or from the Rose Quarter Box Office. The Rose Quarter garages open about two hours before the event’s start. You can also find electric parking stations at Garden and Annex Garages.
Keep in mind that the availability and the parking rates are subject to change depending on the event. So make sure official parking is available for TEDx Portland before getting in your car.
How to find cheap parking near Moda Center?
If you are unable to find parking at official garages or lots, or they are too expensive, cheap parking can be found easily near the arena. You can park in on-street spots near the arena during the TEDx Portland 2022 conference. But the risks associated with street parking can cost you dearly.

Are there any health policies for the conference?
From Saturday, March 12, the mask mandate that was in effect at all Rose Quarter venues has been lifted. But the organizers highly recommend wearing a face mask, especially if you are unvaccinated or are at high risk of contracting Covid-19.
