The U.S. Bank Stadium event replaces the Huntington Bank Stadium show. That event was canceled after a bit of a dust-up about COVID-19 policies. The newly Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted band’s North American tour will happen over May, July, and August in 2022.
According to a press release, the upcoming Foo Fighters gigs are part of the band’s 27th-anniversary tour. After their 25th-anniversary celebrations were canceled due to the pandemic, the Foo Fighters performed 26th-anniversary concerts earlier this year.
Fans of the band will also be happy to know there’s a Foo Fighter’s movie coming out later this year! ‘Studio 666’ is a horror-comedy starring Foo Fighters.
The storyline goes something like this. Band members relocate to a house to record their tenth album. However, once inside the mansion, singer Dave Grohl is confronted by otherworldly forces that endanger both the completion of the album and the lives of the band members. We’re sold!
