The Boys are back after a two-year break and are picking right back up from where they left their world tour in 2019. Almost a million fans made it to the first leg of the Backstreet Boys DNA tour before the pandemic made it impossible to go on. But the DNA tour has already grossed over 92 million in ticket sales and is, without doubt, one of the biggest in BSB’s three-decade strong career.
What is the Backstreet Boys DNA Tour?
Backstreet Boys DNA World Tour is the vocal group’s 11th concert tour. Announced in November 2018, the tour promotes their Grammy-nominated 10th studio album, DNA. The schedule features over 150 concerts across five continents – the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia, making it one of BSB’s biggest arena tours in 18 years.
As per the original schedule, the DNA world tour began on May 11, 2019, in Lisbon, Portugal, and went as planned until March 15, 2020. The remaining dates were rescheduled for 2021; however, the continued impact of the COVID-19 pandemic pushed it further to 2022 – 2023. In addition, two shows at Japan’s Saitama Super Arena were also canceled in 2019 due to the Typhoon Hagibis.
When is the Backstreet Boys 2022 Tour starting?
In April, backstreet Boys events in 2022 started off with special kick-off shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. Before the pandemic, the boys had earned the ‘Fastest-selling Residency’ title in Sin City with their sold-out shows at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The 2022 residency was no different – the two-hour shows were power-packed with fresh energy from the Boys and their fans.
After a short stop in Mexico City on May 13 for the Tecate Emblema Festival, the OG Boy Band will be ready for their summer trek across the USA and Canada. DNA World Tour North American Leg 2 begins June 4, with the first Backstreet Boys Concert 2022 in Chula Vista, CA.
Backstreet Boys Tour Dates 2022
Around 50 US cities are hosting rescheduled Backstreet Boys events this summer. Concerts are also scheduled in Eight Canadian cities on various dates in July, August, and September. In Fall 2022, the Boys are headed to Europe to tour around 10 countries.
New Year 2023 will first take Backstreet Boys to São Paulo in January. Then they are headed to Australia and New Zealand for Oceania concerts from February 25 to March 11.

Backstreet Boys Tickets – DNA World Tour 2022
Backstreet Boys concert 2022 tickets are now available online – with VIP upgrades for Meet & Greet, photo op, and other perks. The VIP upgrade costs $500 per person, while concert tickets are now available for as low as $25 at some smaller venues. You can expect to pay around $300 for good seats. Keep in mind that any add-ons offered, like official on-site parking, will cost you more.
VIP packages are only available for the North American shows. The upgrade includes priority access to the venue. Meet & Greet and photo op with the Backstreet Boys might be subject to social distancing and safety protocols like mandatory masks, as per the health advisory in effect at the concert.
