What is the Austin City Limits Festival all about?

The ACL festival is the annual music festival held in the city of Austin. You can expect the best acts in various genres like rock, folk, indie, EDM, and hip hop to be rocking the stage this year. Last year we saw Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish grace the stage. Other top acts from yesteryear include Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Foo Fighters, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Austin City Limits Festival 2022 dates are split into two three-day weekends. The first part will be from October 7 to October 9, and the second will be from October 14 to October 16.

How to get the festival tickets
Austin City Limits Festival tickets are not currently on sale. But you can join the waiting list here.
You must buy separate tickets for each three-day weekend. Tickets are available as General Admission (GA), GA+, VIP, Platinum, and Y’all Access, and these will cost you between $285 and $1400 for each weekend. If you are going as a group, consider getting a three-day Hotel package priced around $2500.
What are the main attractions at the festival?

Apart from unlimited music, you can enjoy the best of Austin food on the festival grounds. Over 35 local chefs and restaurants will chip in with some of the finest dining experiences in the city. Vegan or gluten-free- you name it, they have it.

You will not be able to park for free on event days at Zilker Park. So be sure to get parking slots nearby. There may be free shuttles from selected locations. The shuttle details are not available now but look out for updates.

What are the health and safety protocols for the festival?
The Austin City Limits music festival will take certain actions for ensuring the safety and health of attendees, staff, and artists. The Austin City Limits Health policy will need you to provide either a full vaccination certificate or a negative COVID test within 72 hours before the festival.
