After a successful inaugural leg last summer, the aptly named \u2018Metal Tour of the Year\u2019 returns for a 23-stop trek across the south and Midwest. Bigger and better, no doubt! You can\u2019t miss the incredible Megadeth, Lamb of God, Trivium, & In Flames tour this time around. Here are all the deets. <\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2021, two of the most iconic metal bands \u2013 Megadeth and Lamb of God \u2013 got together for a summer tour that <\/span>grossed $8 million in ticket sales<\/span><\/a>! It was initially planned for a 2020 debut, but the \u2018Metal Tour of the Year\u2019 was delayed by you-know-who. In 2021, as the tour finally rolled out, Hatebreed had to be roped in to replace In Flames. International travel restrictions kept the Swedish band from opening the concerts alongside Trivium.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In Spring 2022, the original lineup is back for a second leg of the \u2018Metal Tour of the Year.\u2019 While the inaugural leg covered east coast and west coast cities, this year\u2019s schedule focuses on the South and Midwest. The 23-date tour begins on 09 April from Las Vegas and concludes on 15 May in Allentown, PA.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
