JFK Airport in New York is the busiest international air travel gateway to North America. Consequently, it has many flights and connections within the country and around the world. This means that passenger footfall is constant, even during the night and early in the morning. Consequently, you’ll often see numerous passengers hanging around at the airport while waiting for their flight to depart. Although all terminals are open 24 hours a day, the airport does not offer many suitable areas to rest. It is also somewhat cold, noisy, and bright.<\/p>\n

As many weary travelers have found out, there are few resting locations in public areas at JFK. What’s more, most seats at the airport have armrests, making it impossible to stretch out and nap.<\/p>\n

Terminals 1 and 4 are quite possibly the most convenient, as at least a few restaurants are open all night. Terminal 5 is the most modern and clean. It is also a viable alternative if you do not mind sleeping on the ground.<\/p>\n
