We’ll give you a hint — it rhymes with Lord.\u00a0 According to Car and Driver<\/a>, these are the most purchased cars, trucks, and SUV’s this year. Here’s counting down the most popular cars of 2021<\/p>\n

#20: The Subaru Forester<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Subaru enthusiasts<\/a> are some of the most loyal car owners out there, and they buy Forester after Forester. AAA also rated the Forester as one of the best vehicles for older drivers, citing its accessibility, visibility, features\u2019 ease of use, and high safety rating. (New EyeSight driver-assist technology has proven to cut down on crashes.)<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s no Miata<\/a>, but the compact SUV is super reliable and affordable. That tends to be a winning combination and that’s why the CX-5 made it to our countdown of the most popular cars of 2021.<\/p>\n

Speaking of fans, you won’t find many other SUV’s with more love than the beloved Jeep Wrangler<\/a>. A classic in its own right, the sexy vehicle rolled into the marketplace in 1986 and people have been driving with the top down ever since.<\/p>\n

#13: The Jeep Grand Cherokee<\/strong><\/h3>\n

You won’t find a better-looking SUV in our opinion. Like the Wrangler, Cherokee drivers are die-hards, who appreciate the history behind Jeeps, and the fact that the off-roader has reinvented itself along the way quite successfully.<\/p>\n

#12: The GMC Sierra<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We wouldn’t want to run into this sexy beast in a dark alley! According to Car & Driver<\/em>, this high-tech truck is defined as nothing short of luxurious when one opts for the Denali package.<\/p>\n

#11: The Toyota Tacoma<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The popular mid-size offers toughness, competitive pricing, and the Toyota name. Can’t ever go wrong with that.<\/p>\n

#10: The Toyota Highlander<\/strong><\/h3>\n

According to Toyota, the Highlander is the epitome of style and power. It was also voted the top safety pick by IIHS for 2021.<\/p>\n

#9: The Honda Civic<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This compact car has serious staying power, and has been around with one name or another (including the Honda Ballade, the Honda Domani, and the Honda Integra!) since 1972. You can’t go wrong with a Civic.<\/p>\n

#8: The Toyota Corolla<\/strong><\/h3>\n

What do you get for your 17-year-old daughter when you want to ensure she won’t get stranded, or drive too fast? This baby! The Corolla is near and dear to my heart, as this was my first very first car. A white Corolla with Red Hot Chili Peppers stickers on the back window. #memories.<\/p>\n

#7: The Nissan Rogue<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We agree with all of the adjectives Nissan uses to describe this SUV: energetic, modern, and intelligent.<\/p>\n

#6: The Toyota Camry<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We like to refer to the Camry as Ol’ Reliable. It’s a safe and smart choice for no-nonsense drivers.<\/p>\n

#5: The Honda CR-V<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Honda’s most popular smallish SUV has been around since 1995 and has received more facelifts than the late Joan Rivers (rest her hilarious heart!). But coming in at #5, Honda absolutely knows what they are doing in the design department.<\/p>\n

#4: The Toyota RAV4<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"ToyotaSpeaking of crossovers with numerous looks, the RAV4 is finally living up to its rugged namesake. Its affordability is the cherry on top.<\/p>\n

If there is such thing as a luxury pickup, the Ram is it. Marketed as the Dodge Ram until 2010, the Ram was so successful it followed in the footsteps of famed single-namers like Prince or Madonna. It’s also earned Motor Trend<\/em>‘s Truck of the Year eight times.<\/p>\n

#1: The Ford F-Series<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We know the suspense has been killing you. The OG of full-sized pickups has been around since 1948 and has remained the best-selling overall vehicle since 1981. And Canadians love their Ford’s too. The F-series has been the best-selling vehicle there for 50 years. An electric version of the F-150 was unveiled in May of 2021 and will be available in Spring 0f 2022.<\/p>\n
