Things continued to stay interesting for the air travel industry as passengers continued to throng airports, even as concerns rise about the coronavirus Delta variant. It might be worth noting that while we still haven\u2019t the travel highs of 2019, July 2021 has been putting up a pretty solid show.\"Weekly<\/p>\n

Over the last week, 14,328,976 passengers passed through various checkpoints in the country with the highest numbers taking to the skies on July 25th. The numbers were 18,200,500 during the same time period in 2019. We\u2019re not even looking at 2020, the year the travel industry would like to forget.<\/p>\n

How did things go with airport parking this week? Well, is it even summer if Fort Lauderdale Airport does not run out of parking spots? Passengers flying our Flordia had to contend with fully sold-out airport parking spots. Luckily, there are quite a few offsite FLL Airport parking lots<\/a> that passengers can turn to in such situations. A word of advice \u2013 book your FLL parking spot as soon as you book your tickets. The same goes for Reagan airport parking which continues to be rather expensive despite the recent price drop.<\/p>\n

So what can you expect if you\u2019re planning to travel soon? Airlines and airports are bracing themselves for a final onslaught of summer air travelers, which will most likely see more delayed flights, long TSA lines, and crowded planes. There have been quite a few reports of unruly passengers and rising tempers – so try to stay calm whatever happens around you.<\/p>\n
